Hi, RonaldHare!  :)

Eating foods high in calcium and vitamin D are a good choice to start. But the net carb count of ANYTHING we eat makes a BIG difference in weight loss results. That must be taken into account BEFORE we place the food choice in our mouths.

Bananas are NOT a good choice for the FTS low-carb lifestyle during weight loss toward goal weight. During this time, we STRICTLY limit ourselves to 20 net carb grams per day. Some people find they need to eat a few less than that to see progress. Some may do well with a FEW more.

So you know, ONLY ONE medium banana has about 24 net carb grams. And two of them would about FORTY-EIGHT GRAMS! That's more than TWO DAYS' net carb allowance!

After we reach goal weight, we may find that we can eat an occasional banana without major impact. But until then, it is NOT advised for successful weight loss.

SHERRIAUBREY welcome to the forum! I am Umpa,Dougs wife .If  can help you please ask.I have a column on the homepage called ask umpa where I can convert your favorite foods to fat to skinny friendly the dbal max reviews https://alvenda.com/dbal-max-review/ like . You are gonna do great and we are gonna help! ;)

Hi Umpa. I really appreciate the help and support you and Doug are providing. I've just started and I'm fully determined to shed my extra tummy fat. But i've started facing a problem. Mostly while sleeping, I start suffering from severe spasms in my thighs. Might be because of the humid weather that has just started in my country. And diet that you recommend to cure the spasm problem?

Have foods that have high quantities of calcium and vitamin D. Also, eat two bananas every day in the morning.

Cauliflower leaves are VERY tasty!
They're great for making stuffed "cabbage" leaves.

Most of the time, my grocer (or their supplier) trims off the greens before sale.
But I keep my eye out in case some "slip by".  ;)

Desserts and Sweets / Re: cream jelly? jelly cream? jc?

okay...taste tested it....pretty good though it has a grainy texture which is like tiny little bits of jelly.  Overall I think it worked well.  Was firmer than just cream, keeping its shape.  Will make again  :)

Trying something new - cream and jelly but not the conventional way.
I often flavour my whipped cream with cocoa (few drops of zero or other sweetner) to make chocolate cream or cocoa and coffee granules for mocha flavor - fantastic dessert.  Today I sprinkled no sugar jelly crystals over my cream and started to whip.
Raspberry flavour (not the whole packet just what I thought would be sufficient)... it looked pretty (pink), the little taste I had was good.  Popped it in the fridge for tomorrow.  I want to know how the setting agent in the jelly will affect the cream.  Will it be firmer or same as whipped cream?  Results will be announced soon.  This opens up all those other flavours - orange, pineapple, strawberry...you get the drift.
And you don't have to add any sweetner because it is already in the jelly.  I hope it ends up a little firmer as this would help when putting on cake/cheesecake or, well, anything.

Will let you know....morgan

Hello newbies... I've noticed a whole lot of new people signing on but no one's posting.... USE YOUR WORDS PEOPLE....we would love to hear from you.

We are a very social group here when we eventually all get together.  Some of us come and go.  Join the program, do fantastic, fall off the wagon....get guilty...leave and then come back and redeem ourselves.  We don't judge.  We are here to help, listen, advise or just because.

It's pretty much anonymous.... you can state your feelings, aspirations, goals, difficulties, new recipes, successes, failures (that can be turned in successes - just ask).

Hope to hear from you.
