I am getting better I have been knocked out on the pain pills & I am only taking half . I am not use to any meds  :P :P Still on liquids & jello . He said the hole is deep and even soft foods will get in there so stay on liquids for a few days . Not hurting as bad as I thought I would . But am going to have a very hard time being a meat eater for quite awhile . I dont know what I am going to do .I have learned to love my meat and everything that is not meat is carbs .
Yes Sherrie it looks like I am here cause I have this page set as my home page it comes up when I get online  ;D
Thanks for checking on me ,it looks like it is going to be a slow healing . I have to wait 2 weeks before I can get the partial made then it will take 2 more weeks before it comes in . wish me luck  ;)

Sounds like you're recovering well, Jo! :) :) :) :) :)

To replace meat, eat more fish and chicken that's been simmered (or boiled) until very tender.
Pork or beef that's been cooked in a crock pot until falling apart are options too.
Eat low carb yogurt and soft cheeses.
Try cream cheese with a little hot sauce on a slice of tomato... One of my favorite snacks! :)

Just be very careful until you get your stitches out.
Any food getting stuck in there can cause "dry socket" which is very unpleasant.

It's a good thing that the mouth heals very fast.
Soon, you'll not need the pills and be doing so much better! :) :) :)

Please keep us posted on your recovery!

Tony

Hey sweet Jo!  Hang in there girl, and I sure hope you feel better soon!  I think I could live on Land of Lakes whipped cream if I had to!!  ha ha  :D  Just kidding.   Hey, nobody found or ate my apple pie Quest bar, so I had it for breakfast...it was GOOD!  Of the 3 you mailed to me, the cinnamon roll one was my favorite!  I'll definitely order some of these soon!!  Thanks again for  sharing!   Your'e the BEST!!!  ;)
