Hi skychant! :)
This is a simplified version of Artichoke Chicken;

Except I use more garlic (1 crushed clove or 1 tsp. garlic powder) with a little sea salt and fresh ground black pepper.
I will try this next time I'm thinking about making Artichoke Chicken.

I love how simple your recipes are skychant :)
-
Yes I love simple!!!! Same with Doug's recipes most of them sound very simple and 'normal' and easy to do. I enjoy watching him cook stuff, find encouragement even in that.
-
Me too! Doug always says to the ladies that say I have been cooking all day,"Well I don't want to eat your food because it is overcooked!Nothing should take all day" :D
-
Simple delish recipe!!!!
-
This recipe can also be used for pork, fish, turkey :)

I make this for Mary, only I make them into chicken nuggets. Comfort food for her.

Hi, going crazy. Somehow we now have bed bugs. Grrrr. Been sleeping outside in a large tent on cots. Need to get beds outside and turn heat on in house. The exterminators want $200 to rid of them, we cannot afford that.
Keeping cool drinking ice water, iced coffee, sugar-free root beer floats and popsicles.
It may sound silly, but I've been exercising with my mother's old "Suzanne Somer's Thigh Master". It's something that does not require 2 hands, so I love it. I've been at it for 6 weeks and now have some bicep muscles. I see some changes in my upper back, stomach & thighs too. Tried on pants at Kmart just to see what I can wear. Took a size 8, yay!!!!
-
I remember those! Suzanne Somers made a mint with those! :) I dont know anything about bedbugs,I wish I could help :(

Hi, Susie! :)
Nice to hear that your exercise routine with "old school" equipment is working for you!
A stronger body is a happier body. ;)
When I lived in SoCal, I remember a number of people that had the "bed bug" scourge.
They come from outdoors and will creep in through cracks and gaps to the outside (especially near the ground).
Pest exterminators are usually expensive and will often try and talk you into expensive "maintenance plans".
Other than regularly cleaning, vacuuming, and dusting your home, there are few other things you can do.
Here's an excellent do-it-yourself process that you and Mary can do to get rid of the little buggers.

Once you get rid of them, if you use a "bed bug detection system", you can spot them early before they spread.
This website has a link to buy a system for about $8.
Let us know how your "battle of the bed bugs" goes.

I'm assuming bed bugs because Mary and I had bites all over exposed areas, sometimes in tracks. They all gone now that we are not sleeping in bedrooms. No new bites while on our computers in our bedrooms. We still have a lot to do.

Hi, Susie! :)
I hope you can get rid of them soon.
I know it would be nice to be back in your own bedrooms.
After all, unless the little buggers are paying you rent, they gotta go. ;)
