I agree with Umpa...you might need some veggies  ;)  Eventually your body will be craving what it needs to stay healthy.  A good balance of protein, healthy fats and veggies will help keep your body working properly.  Also you can save some carbs by using a real mayo...such as Hellmann's or any brand you like.  Anything that has "Low Fat" on the label will have added sugar.  They seem to need to add sugar to make it taste better  ;)   You are doing so great  :D  Keep up the good work!

TooSweet & Umpa, I've taken your advice with eating more veggies  ;)  I will also be buying some fresh strawberries this up coming Wensday, (I usually purchase the berries once a week and I do love them.)  As an update, I've lost 12 pounds since last Saturday, I posted this same weight loss (http://www.fattoskinny.com/) news in another thread, guess I got a bit excited!  I went from 242 pounds at a size 28w down to 230 pounds in a size 26w and my 26w pants are loose on me!   :o  So now I'll mention my meal plan for the day.   8)

(1.)   For brakefast I had 4oz chicken breast boneless and skinless w Walden Farms sugar free BBQ, and drank a 0 sugar Rock Star energy drink.

(2.)   I've eaten some pork rinds about 2oz and I had 2 slices of cheddar cheese

(3.)   lunch was ground turkey meat w low fat cheese (2 carbs) with olive oil and 5 green olives (1 carb) mixed with curry and real pork bacon bits, and then finished with 1 cup green beans (3 carbs)

(4.)   for my second snack more pork rinds at about 3oz

(5.)   scambled eggs from 3 egg whites and 1 whole egg (3 carbs?), then mixed with Real bacon bits - 2/3 cup of spinach (2.5 carbs)

(6.)   Dessert was 2 Life Saver candies - the sugar free kinds of course. (1 carb)

I bought The FTS book for my Mom and she was happy about it, but she thinks that I'm not getting enough carbs.  I prove to her that this book really works.  I hope she reads it.  ;D

Looks great!!  Congratulations again on the weight loss (http://www.fattoskinny.com/)  :D Be sure to do some measurements too.  That way when the scale isn't moving you can still see that your body is changing  ;)

Sorry I forgot to add the carb count for my Dinner, which was 6.5 carbs and I also have to add the carbs within my cranberry supplements, (Today I had to start back on my cranberry pills because my bladder infections sometimes creep up on me, so I'm trying to nip it in the bud so that it won't get worse.  It seems like I almost always ending leaving something out of my meal plans.  I'll have to work on that. :-X

It should get better soon  ;)  I agree with Umpa about the viggies...that being said I tend to forget veggies sometimes myself...Haha  It's a balance kinda thing.  Maybe try adding in some small salads here and there. It's hard to concentrate on it all when you first get started.  You'll get your FTS legs under you before you know it.  Are you taking a good multi vitamin?  That might be a good idea incase you are missing some nutrients with your meals.  Hang in there...you are doing great  :)

I agree!... Finding that "balance"with veggies in meal plans can be challenging.

There are days I know I don't enough of them.
That's why I take supplements EVERYDAY so I'm sure that my body is getting what it needs (even when I'm lazy). ;)

Noelblue1,  your infection might disappear with time and don't be surprised because it's sugar that feeds yeast and other infections in our bodies that produces yeast.  I'm proud of you for your loss of weight and your dedication 8)

Jay is right, Noell! :)

It's amazing how many bad things feed on blood glucose.
When we keep it in check, we won't get sick as often.

In fact, I haven't had a cold, flu, bronchitis, or any bad bug since I started FTS over 3 years ago! ;D
Before then, I could count on all of them (even more) at least once a year!

Hi Umpa, I will try to eat more veggies.  I usually keep my meals easy, and simple for less mess and convenience.  I do have the FTS cook book volume 1.  I will post my meals from today this evening. (Been slacking off a little.)  As an update I lost another pound this week. ;D

(1.)    crab salad.  0 carb sugar free energy drink w a half of tbs of peanut butter (3 carbs)  ::)

(2.)    3 slices of cheddar  :P

(3.)    3 oz of chicken baked w/o bone or skin :)

(4.)    ground turkey cooked in olive oil w 3 olives and bacon bits plus half cup of low fat cheese (2 carbs)

(5.)    half cup of strawberries w whipped cream (7 carbs)   :)

(6.)    chicken w Walden BBQ and low fat cheese (1 carb)

(7.)    3 excitemint sugar free sours (3 carbs)

I'm just a little mad at Walmart because the strawberries I purchased looked good from the outside but then when I took them home...about 75% of the berries we soggy or bruised.  They brag about how fresh their produce is, but when someone buys the stuff it ends up a waste of money and time.  >:(

Hi, Noell! :)

TooSweet is right.
Walmart is VERY good about returns, especially on food items.

No matter where you buy your groceries, there will be a bad product or two.
The possible exception to this (most of the time) is farmer's street markets.
And that's because the farmers are selling produce in small lots.

Stores buy their produce in large bulk lots.
Somewhere in those lots, is a "bad apple" or two.
When you run into them, simply return them.

Wow  you are doing great!!!
Noel, you can easily make whipped cream with no carb. I put 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream in a bowl, add 1/4 tsp vanilla and 3 drops FTS Zero Sweet (sometimes more to taste). Whip that up quick with a hand mixer or can whip it with a whisk. Takes a lot long to use whisk but goes by quick if you're watching TV. It tastes fantastic. I later it in a tall glass with sliced strawberries. It's an amazing tasting dessert for my daughter, Mary & I. That 1/2 cup cream serves both of us, but if you're like my daughter, you'll want t all, lol.

Yep..... My Walmart quit stocking the 0 carb brand.   >:(  Even after I explained to the girl that works in that area why I was looking for it and she said she would try and get it back.   They stopped carrying the golden flax meal I like to buy too...if they quit with the Joseph's pitas I will quite going in there all together.  I much rather go in the store in the next town over...I just hate the drive.  Unfortunately they don't carry the 0 carb heavy whipping cream either  :-\

Hi, Susie! :)

It's really a shame how some stores phase out low carb alternative foods.
It must be some kind of "sugar conspiracy" at work! ;)

But seriously, sometimes complaining to the store manager helps.
Especially if you're a steady customer that threatens to go elsewhere. 8)

LOL Doug  :o , We do eat a lot of chicken in our home.  Mostly cause its cheap, fast, and easy, but I did buy some beef wrapped in bacon to try for this week, along with some shrimp and crab meats.  I ordered some flax seed meal and some almond flour to make some baked goodies in the coming weeks.  I also ordered some FTS zero sweetener today, my first 2 bottles and I am eager to try it out.  The FTS eating plan has been the best for me so far, skinny jeans here I come.  ;D ;D ;D

Thank you Faith and Susie for the encouragement, it means a lot to me.  :-* I baked some chocolate muffins from the Sugar Free Bakery e book and they turned out well.  My huband even liked them and he was proud of me for baking them without messing up the recipe, yay!  I'm going to try the coconut cake next, over this weekend.  I'm not much of a cook, but the muffins were surprisingly easy to make!  See umpa, I did add something different to my menu today, lol.  :o

Thanks Umpa.  :D  I made the coconut cake tonight and it was awesome!!!  We liked it better than the chocolate muffins.  Would the coconut cake be considered gluten free I wonder?  I have a few friends that suffer from gluten issues and this recipe would be wonderful for them.  I may just be becoming a little baker, maybe at level 1 perhaps, hee hee.  ::)

That may partly be the result of wearing heavy earrings. :D :D :D
I've seen a few elderly ladies with lobes that almost touch their shoulders.

:o :o :o  My hubby Nick is getting spoiled...hee hee, he wants me to bake treats for him almost every night, and the foods I bake don't upset his stomach like junkie foods sometimes used to do. 8)

No Umpa, he still eats rice and some bread, but this past spring he got really sick and lost over 40 pounds, it was a mystery illness and the doc didn't know what was wrong with him.  :(  I'm trying to sneak some healthier food choices into his diet so that he doesn't get sick again.  ;)

Hi, Noell! :)

There are so many low carb delicious recipes to serve your hubby.
Just don't tell him beforehand that they're low carb... He'll be very surprised! ;)

Thank you Umpa, and Tony.  He has been enjoying the low carb baked goods.  I'm going to make the Sicilian Bread Cake for him this weekend, he loves lemon flavored foods. :)

:) I baked the the Sicilian Bread Cake for Nick last night and he loved it!  I'm getting a little more adventurous with the baked goods.  My husband says I've moved up to level 3 baking skills, lol.  Maybe in a couple of years  I'll even make it to level 10.

I think I lost more weight, but not sure...I have to go to the gym to weigh myself tomarrow.  I told hubby that I wanted a digital scale, but he's been dragging his feet on getting me one, for some reason I don't know why he's holding off on the scale thing.  My clothes have a bit more wiggle room, yay!.  I'm hoping that I lost another 3 to 4 pounds...we'll see.

:o My lower back has been hurting now for about 2 weeks.  I've been trying to do stretches and light weight lifting to strengthen it some.  I'm thinking that the all weight that I've gained over the years it catching up to me now, its a wonderful thing that I found FTS when I did...no telling what might of happened next.

I've found out about chia seeds through the forums on here. Since I've been eating chia seeds, my skin complexion has been more clear.  The temp has been cool but nice here in Pennsylvania.  Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend, mine was pretty good for the most part. ;D

That's great Noel! Did the chia seeds clear your skin tone or acne or both?

Hi Susie, I believe it helped out with both.  I mixed up the chia seeds with strawberries, heavy whipping cream, green tea, a little bit of spinach and baby kale with some zero sweetener in the nutri bullet...it tasted like one of those expensive green drinks that you get at a health food store or juice bar.  :D

You are doing great Noell! That sounds yummy! Chia seeds are wicked good for you! Not only are they good for your skin they are loaded with omegas and will also keep you hydrated. ;)
