Umpa, forgive me if I am overwhelming you.. I guess its obvious I am a newbie plus my lunch time is the only real time I get to do this..

So, I am Cuban and one of our all time favorite is Flan.  As you will discover, the caramel is what makes it. Do you think this is one of those impossible recipes?

BTW: you're heaven sent for sure!!!!!

You and Doug deserve national recognition for sure...  Let me tell you that you guys should work on a good tasty healthy school menu and present it to the school boards.. It surely would help with children obesity...

Thanks Umpa.. Though I havent received my book yet (should have it by Tues as per tracking) I went and bought some items today to start..

I must confess that I bought the shirataki noodles and well it wasnt to appealing to my eyes but I will not let that dictate it until I try it.

Make sure you rinse them well. Then, NEVER NEVER NEVER eat them plain! They will absorb the flavors of whatever you put with them. The water they are packed in will smell very fishy when you first open the pack. That is normal.

The ones I have are angel hair pasta. You may have the linguini? They taste better than they look once you put the sauce and other ingredients with the noodles.

I got the the spagetti ones. They had the linguini ones but those really didnt appeal to me..  thank you for the tips because I wouldnt have known...

Aly if you like Lomein check out the recipe on the forum the spagetti noodles are excellant for that too!

Thats whats for dinner tonight... Thanks Umpa... I so have a special place in my heart for you.. One of my dreams is to publish my own cookbook but of course the recipes that I have are not carb friendly..

Maybe once I become an expert, I will accomplish my own healthy recipes and make that dream come true.. I can dream right?
