Title: Go ahead, bake a ham!
Post by: Doug Varrieur on May 01, 2014, 08:53:17 AM
Umpa and I LOVE a good ham but finding a good one which is also low or zero carb is sometimes a challenge. Dinner Bell hams are wonderful, low sodium and zero carbs, these hams are sure to please. I ran across them on sale at Bi Lo for 1.99 a pound and bought 2. The wonderful thing about cooking a ham or roasting off a turkey, large chicken or beef/pork roast are all the great leftovers for lunches, breakfasts, snack trays etc...

Cooking these hams is very simple.

Simple Baked ham with apricot glaze

1- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
2- Crisscross slice 1/4 inch deep the top surface of the ham
3- Slather on Polaner Sugar Free Apricot preserves
4- Place the ham in a baking dish with a cup of water in the bottom
5- Bake for 1 hour.

Go ahead, bake a ham!
