The scale moveth!

Well, I know it's not a whole lot, but my scale moved! Haha...From 204 to a total of 203!! LoL...I've been on 204 for months!! Get so sick of seeing the same number all the time!! LoL...But it finally moved! YaY!! Got my fist winter cold! Yuck! I hate being sick! Good excuse to bundle up with a blanket and coffee and a good book! Hope everybody is haveing a good day!!

LOL Tony -- I know what you mean. I deliberately set my goal weight at 5 pounds less than where I thought I should be. And since I'm doing such a good job hovering at this weight, I'm beginning to wonder. I'm thinking I might really get strict and see if I can hit it though -- just for the heck of it.

We know that our bodies resist change and like to be stable and balanced.

When we reach our true and healthy goal weights, our bodies will tell us we are there by putting up greater resistance to more loss.
It's a natural survival mechanism.

Sadly, our bodies will not be as resistant to gaining extra pounds for the same reason... A natural survival mechanism.
