Post by: paulachappell on August 20, 2010, 10:03:13 PM: Doug went back to the retina specialist today.....spectacular news to share. His vision is MUCH improved and the doc even said there is a very good chance he will regain the vision he had lost if he continues to keep his blood sugar down. There is one spot under the macula on his right eye where a vein is causing him to have blurry vision so our prayer is that it will shrink and he will regain the vision in that eye. We are ready to see about getting some glasses so he can pass the eye test to get his driver's license back. Another reason for us to LOVE FTS! He is going to go back to his regular doctor for his first check up since starting the new way of eating. Can't wait for those results!!! ;D ;D ;D

I was telling the nurse practitioner I work with about Doug's results, she's been on this journey with me. She asked me to email her the link to your website. I think your book would be great for some of the folks we work with, easy to understand and follow. She mostly works with dialysis patients of which probably 99% are diabetic.

I am going to try to get my sister in law to read this post. She is diabetic eats and drinks sugar in everything and is stuck on the very conventional thinking of her Dr. she thinks there is no cure for her problem. Everyone here is living proof! F2S fast and easy!

Post by: paulachappell on August 26, 2010, 09:35:07 PM: More good news re: Doug's eyes. He went to the regular eye doctor and she said his vision is 4x better than it was the last time she saw him. He was able to get a prescription for his glasses and she said he should have NO problem passing the eye exam to get his driver's license. We are ecstatic. He called me at work today and said he is taking the day off of work tomorrow to work in the yard. That might not sound so amazing but a couple of short months ago all he wanted to do was sleep and watch tv. The transformation in him has been really incredible to see. I feel like I have my husband back, the one that used to make me laugh all the time and was so much fun to be around. ;D ;D ;D

It's so inspiring to see someone get a new lease on life!

It's wonderful to see miracles happen after removing sugar from a diet.
