“Bailey’s” Irish Cream
2 cups heavy cream - 0 carbs
1 cup Low carb sweetened condensed milk (recipe to follow) = 5.6 carbs or less (depends on if you need to use the whole recipe)
1 ¼ cups rye (Canadian whisky – not American whisky which is bourbon) = 0 carbs
2 tblsp. Hershey's or Walden Farm's sugar free chocolate syrup (0 if you use Walden Farm's)
2 tsp. instant coffee granules = 1
1 tsp. vanilla = .5
½ tsp. almond extract = 0
Put all ingredients in blender and mix thoroughly. Pour into a bottle. I have even decorated a bottle to take as a hostess gift.
Total carbs = less than 7 for the whole bottle. (P.S. recipe is to be shared with others, don't sit and drink the whole bottle by yourself, LOL!!)
"Sweetened" Condensed Milk
2.5 cups heavy cream (0 carbs)
6 egg yolks (.6 carbs per yolk = around 3.6 carbs)
18 drops of FAT TO SKINNY Zero Sweetener (0 carbs)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract = .5 carbs
Whisk heavy cream, egg yolks, vanilla, and ZERO. Cook over low heat, stirring until thick. Cool completely and store in non-metal.

Morgan mentioned having Bailey's on her birthday. Here's the FTS version.

HAPPY MORGAN DANCE! :D :D

Is there a 'not so happy morgan dance' ?
I added up the carbs and it came up to 36 because of all the cream - we don't have 0 carb cream (it's 0.7/20ml(tblspn), and 0.6/20ml for pure cream) go figure.
What volume does it make and how long does it keep?
Even at 36 it is still better than the 8carbs/30ml of the original stuff.

My family is from Dublin and Im going to give this a try and test it out on them lol sounds way good..
-
It makes almost 4 1/2 cups morgan just make smaller portion .Like 1 cup at a time. With the whiskey it should last awhile in the fridge. Sip on it ;)
-
I bet you could also replace some of that heavy cream with sugar free almond milk to cut some of those carbs Morgan. It may be a little thinner so to speak but probably just as good ;)
-
I wish TooSweet - we don't have sugar free almond milk. We have just started to get almond milk- still too many carbs.
-
Here you go Morgan. You can try making your own ;D It's so frustrating when you can't find things isn't it?? This seems pretty easy to do.....

Thanks. Off to put almonds on shopping list now. (Looks easy enough.)

I'm going to be thankful that I can get almond milk at the grocery store.
-
That Almond Milk will make it taste pretty awsome I think... good idea!
-
I thought it was cool too HAHa From what I understand it is supposed to taste better than the store bought.....who knows though. I really love the Silk brand because it is 0 net carbs but if you look it has a bunch of stuff added to it. I like knowing I can make it if I want to and you get to know what is in it that way ;D
If you try it Morgan let us know if you like it :)

I gotta try this TooSweet :)
