Title: Starting Over in SC !
Post by: SouthCarolinaLady on December 28, 2010, 12:55:18 PM
Too many temptations and I gave in -- guess I fell off the wagon with a few other FTS family members.  Starting over as of yesterday (Mondays are good days to start fresh!)  The sugar headache is almost over -- yeah!  Looking forward to warmer days and new spring clothes!  Happy New Year Everyone!!!

I wish there were a way we could temporarily invoke a sugar headache BEFORE we ate any of those poisons.
That would serve as a good reminder of why we don't eat that junk anymore.
Not to mention the usual 2-week weight loss (http://www.fattoskinny.com/) plateau (and sugar detox) most of us suffer after eating high-sugar food.

Thanks for the encouraging words!  I need that especially right now!!!  Today is day 3 without sugar -- so I am getting back on track!  Thankfully I did not let the pounds add up too high before "coming to my senses" and before the clothes start to screem "too tight"!!!  Take care everyone and make it a great day!

Hi Susie, glad to see you came back to your senses as you say  ::) We are all here for the same reason, to hold on tight to each other as we change habits that have been such a part of our lives for so very long. I can honestly tell you that once your new habits are well intergrated into your life falling off the wagon for you will be almost impossible. It's up to you to remove all temptations from your house and stay strong.

I look forward to your 2011 success story!

Thanks  Doug!  Day 4 and the scales are showing "less" -- Praise God!

Why does something in our mouth for 3 seconds take 3 weeks to come off?

I'm feeling much better (from the sugar withdrawal-now gone) and mentally strong -- looking forward to a new year of more energy and a healthier body!

Take care everyone and again, HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!
