Hubby made this for me for breakfast today. We used heavy whipping cream instead of sour cream. He also made some individual servings and mixed in some Old Bay in the egg mixture and poured into small oven safe bowls or ramekins which turned out very good.

I'll let my husband know! ;) Glad you enjoyed it!

Cooked this yesterday morning.
I added 1/4 cup (each) yellow, red, and green diced bell peppers.
They gave it a "southwestern" flavor.
It's also yummy served with a couple of tablespoons of hot salsa and sour cream as a topping!!!

This sounds so good. But do to allergies I think I will try it with turkey bacon.
Has anyone tried that yet?
-
I love turkey bacon! Yes it will work.Quiches would be a good thing for you because there are always leftovers to put in the fridge for a snack later. ;)
-
Especially with the kids, I like to keep things that they can snack on that are not loaded with sugar.
-
Turkey pastrami is another tasty alternative!!! ;)
-
Mouseissue I will have to keep that in mind. Thanks for the Idea. ;D
-
The turkey pastrami is wonderful and cheap! ;)
