I love steak and I buy em thick. Generally Umpa and I can't get through 1 steak between us so there's always left over meat for lunch the next day. Here's one of my fav leftover steak recipes;
FTS Philly Cheese Steak serves 2
Ingredients
1 cup leftover steak sliced thin
1/4 cup thin sliced onions
1/4 cup thin sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 large romaine lettuce leaves
tablespoon of mayo
salt and pepper
tablespoon olive oil
Directions
1- heat the olive oil in a skillet
2- saute the veggies till limp
3- toss in the meat and cheese, stir and cover remove from heat.
4- spread mayo on the romaine
5- fill up the leaves, salt and pepper to taste, roll up and serve.
