LC Foods
« on: May 10, 2012, 08:01:46 AM »
My low carb stockist stocks products by LC Foods - milk (powder) that has 0 carbs, sweetened condensed milk(pdr) 0 carbs, flour (1/4 cup) 1.5c, Ice-cream (pdr) .4c.   Has anyone heard about this company? Is it true and any good?

Has anyone heard from Buford lately?  Just wondering and thinking good thoughts about him.  He certainly adds character to our topics.

Has anyone tried the LC Foods hamburger rolls?  I just went to their website and it says they are 2 net carbs.

I know I have read elsewhere on this forum that people will go to fast food restaurants and buy a hamburger.  Instead of eating the bun, they put the burger in a low carb tortilla.  I tried that last night with homemade burgers.  I used a 4 net carb La Tortilla Factory tortilla.  Not a bad way to go, but if I can actually have a bun for only 2 net carbs... now that is something I would like.  Of course, only if the buns are edible... and not tasteless cardboard.

Sorry, the LC hamburger rolls are 3 net carbs.  I said 2 in my previous post.

I like to use iceberg lettuce leaves or Josephs pita(at walmart next to the deli) . When I buy bread online I always read the ingredient list.If the first 5 ingredients are high carb I walk away.I have not tried these so I don't have a opinion ;)
