Sure did - and it really does seem this is the problem for me! I was mainly just curious as to why the urination stopped when I added back carbs and starts back up again when I stop them! It seems the carb issue is overriding the fit D issue...?!

But in any event, I should know the test results soon and then I will know for sure! Meanwhile, I'm back to sticking with low-carb!

So sorry it's taken so long to get back on here! My mil who is almost 94 and lives with us has dementia and has taken a turn and it's been horribly draining here...

Anyway - yes, the Vit D does seem to have been the culprit! I've been off it now for about 6 weeks and will retest soon but the urination is back to normal.

They can be VERY draining for all concerned.

Wow Vit D is culprit? I take D3, low dose & meds that are diuretics early in the morning. I urinate at night only because I drink water before bed, lol. When I don't drink water before bed, I don't get up to go.

Hi, Susie - Yes, but I was taking 30,000 units of Vit. D DAILY!!!  I'd read a book about it helping many of the conditions I have and for many years it was taking this much supplementation to keep my levels in the 70-90 range.  However, once I started eating the FTS way, evidently I started getting enough Vit. D from my diet but didn't know it was climbing so high!!  So now I'm staying OFF supplementation altogether to see what happens. Last test it was 65 so I'm still doing pretty good without taking anything!

Jackie, So good to see you back on here.That is such great news about being off your supplements!
I now try to feed my daughter as much variety of foods as I can because vitamins & supplements make her sick to her stomach. Her rheumatologist wants her on 800 mg calcium a day but she cannot stomach the supplements. I might have to look into sugar free chocolate chews that I saw in an ad. Will check the carbs on that. In the meantime she is loving my salads I'm coming up with! Many greens have amazing nutrients!
