Set Small Goals and Reward Yourself! :)
« on: July 29, 2010, 01:11:54 PM »
Hey "FTS Family", I think it is important to set small goals and reward yourself with something new to wear, special trip, new book to read, etc.  We have to love ourselves before we can truly love others!  Make it a great day!   :D

I agree 1,000,000 % every ten pounds gone should be time for a prize!

VERY nice :) Now lets talk Mexican! I want you to go to your favorite Mexican rest with low carb tortillas in your purse. Order chicken and steak fajitas without the tortillas, rice or beans....yes please to extra sour cream, lettuce and guacamole!  Dig in baby!

Wow, Doreen!  That's great.  Like you I would have 'indulged' in the potato chips B4 knowing about FTS, even if I was 'dieting'.  This plan makes it so easy to stick to since it takes away the craving for sweets and foods that metabolize into sugar!  Good job!  Keep up the great work!

Hey Diane!  How are you doing on the FTS program?  Hope you are staying cool in your sunny state!  When I need a "sweet tooth fix", I eat some sugar free Russell Stover chocolate candy!   This has helped me to stay on track and not feel deprived from my chocolate.  I do eat healthy and balanced meals -- not just chocolate!   :D   Take care!

Hi Susie, I haven't lost anything in several weeks... except maybe inches... I had to cut out the SF candy.. If it's around I eat the whole bag.  I am trying to be very careful with my carb intake but still it's not showing up on the scale.  I'll be glad when it does but even if it didn't I would still follow this plan.  I have more energy, no more daily headaches, and I feel better about myself.  According to the scale I have actually GAINED 3 pounds since my lowest recorded weight.  I'm actually afraid to get on the scale now...LOL!

Hey Diane!  Losing inches can be more rewarding than what the scales read -- but stay strong and eventually the scales will have to show pounds lost!  Like I said before, I lose like a "turtle", but I have heard it said taking off the pounds slowly will most likely keep them off (hopefully) for a lifetime!  Take one day at a  time and keep the carbs 20 or less.  Have a great day FRIEND !!!   :D
