Hi 3angels!  :)

Here's a link to the brand that I've seen Doug use (House Foods).
Their website has a store locator link:
http://www.house-foods.com/Tofu/tofu_shirataki.aspx (http://www.house-foods.com/Tofu/tofu_shirataki.aspx)

Or if you prefer to order them online, try:

I hope so. I had him watch the video yesterday, and he did ask what the nutritional facts were. I think he's thinking the chicken is coated with the entire bag of pork rinds or something. I'm still going to make it as soon as I get the ingredients. Rick went off the FTS wagon awhile back and put quite a bit of his weight back on. But since we're returning to WDW in May, he's determined to get back to where he was. That's mostly because the only shorts he has are a few sizes smaller. Ha! He's lost 5 pounds the past 2-3 days, so he's doing great.

I think he'd like this one, though he still scrunches his nose at the pasta.

You could always just leave the pasta out and serve it with a salad - or the thin sliced cabbage.

Have you made the eggplant lasagna for him? :)

No, I haven't made the eggplant lasagna yet. I did make the one in the zucchini boats and we both liked that a lot. I'll try this recipe and see how he likes it. If not, he's on his own and more for me!  :D

Ha! It worked for me to get into my Mickey Mouse shorts. Not sure if it will work for Rick. I did call him "Rolie Polie Oldie" the other day. No one at his work believed him when he said that (they all think I'm a saint ;) ), but then I posted the video clip to his Facebook wall. He's doing good, though. He's grumpy, but he's doing good.

Howdy Y'all,

Yeppie, ya done hit another one out-da park. Now I got to run up to Jacksonville
(thats where the closest SAM's is) and get that there sauce , I'll try the WD here in Palatka
first tho. You know y'all are putting a real strain on the chicken farmers here in Florida
with all them there great meals and much less strain on my new belt and jeans.

     Nice job Dougy.

Our Best to You and Yours,
Buford and the Girls

I am double and triple rinsing my tofu noodles so the smell isn't an issue, but I am having a hard time getting past the rubbery texture.  Any suggestions would be great.

I like them best baked. I also like to make my pasta and let it set up so it absorbs the sauce. You can also drop them in boiling water. The asian grocer sells gluccomman noodles which have a different texture from soy. ;)

Hi Mark!

Umpa's so right!
I think you might like the texture of gluccomman noodles a bit better.

Here's a link to the Asian Grocer website, noodle category;

Thanks for the gluccomman suggestion.  We have several Asian markets in my area.  I will try to find some there.
