Hey Doug? Ever heard of this diet?
« on: May 20, 2011, 10:21:59 AM »
One of my friends from high school, who I have on Facebook, she is on this "Diet", not that I'm the least bit interested in it, but I just think it's odd, because when she explains to one of her friends, how it's other things, and no sugar, but yet in the same thing, it shows a picture of her eating a potato! Carbs, duhhh....

Hi snobles!

The Paleo Diet is just another fad diet to which your friend (among others) has fallen victim.

If your friend is eating potatoes, she only "thinks" she's not eating sugar.
We know better than that... Don't we? ;)

Explain this to her in a kind way.

Get her a copy of Doug's book.
It should be a real eye-opener for her. :o :o :o
What you do today is what matters!

@Mouseissue, I hear ya! And it's funny to hear different people talking in the grocery store lines!! Makes me wanna hand out, Fat To Skinny flyers or something you know?? People talking about Dr. Oz diet, and one ladys mother n law listens to Dr. Oz, and she eats pork rinds. I wanted to scream at her (I refrained!) that pork rinds are actually good for you! People are soooo misguided!
