Umpa, I did not know that with anemia you can't drink coffee or have chocolate, (shows how much I know ha ha).  But the good thing is that the FTS lifestyle has a variety of other tasty treats you can eat.  I'm with too sweet, I love both chocolate and coffee.  I hope you feel better Umpa.  Sending you much love.  :-*

Thank you Faith and Susie for the encouragement, it means a lot to me.  :-* I baked some chocolate muffins from the Sugar Free Bakery e book and they turned out well.  My huband even liked them and he was proud of me for baking them without messing up the recipe, yay!  I'm going to try the coconut cake next, over this weekend.  I'm not much of a cook, but the muffins were surprisingly easy to make!  See umpa, I did add something different to my menu today, lol.  :o

I've started lifting weights again, now that I have more energy I can do more, yay!  Right now my muscles are weak and flabby, so hopefully within a few months I will gain some muscle along with some definition throughout my body, and tone up.  I'm feeling a little pain, but that just means I got a major workout. ::)
Here is my food for Oct. 9

(1.)    You guessed it Chicken, yum

(2.)    more chicken

(3.)    beef fillets wrapped in bacon ( I love bacon...I'm surprised nobody jumped on that one lol)

(4.)    Pork rinds & 2 S/F Candies = 2 carbs

(5.)    ground turkey with 3 green olives and some bacon bits, and half a cup of green beans = 3 carbs

(6.)    strawberries with whipped cream = 5 carbs

:) I love pumpkin based foods!  Someone should make a FTS approved pumpkin latte, that would be just wonderful. :)

Hi itsasimplelife, welcome to the FTS fam... I agree with Tony, FTS zero is the best sugar alternative that I've used so far, ( not that I've tried them all) but the zero sweetener works pretty well and its affordable too. 8)

I'll have to try the butter in my coffee idea!  One of the many things that the FTS lifestyle is teaching me, is to try different things with your foods and drinks...I've been slowly stepping out of my compfort zone to try new things.  For me FTS has made food something fun again...with trying new recipes and all.  :D ;D :D ;D
