xylitol is a sugar alcohol made from birch-wood. The best kind is NOW 100% xylitol at amazon .com

I get confused easily  ::) I was reading the label on the xylitol bag it said four grams = 4 carbs. I have never used it, was looking at some recipes and thought I would. Thanks for your time.

I have been buying mine at Vitamin Shoppe.  I have also seen it at Whole Foods but it is more expensive there.  Will probably start ordering online though so it will be cheaper.
