Title: Going through the "Change"
Post by: o0OSusieO0o on March 28, 2013, 12:52:51 PM
Ripples of heat so many times during the day now. My electric bill will be high this summer, lol. I'm sitting in front of fan now, was in front of heater an hour ago.....hahahaha.
Sometimes I get nauseated, some nuts or cheese stick really help.
I take a multi-vitamin for Seniors, a skin, nail & hair supplement, biotin (for my hair loss), red raspberry keytones (gives me energy), fiber pills & powder. I would take better and more supplements but my budget doesn't allow for that, oh well. I cook with Smart Balance w/ 1,500 mg of Omega 3 per tablespoon, cold pressed coconut oil, sesame oil & cold pressed extra virgin olive oil.
Turning fan off now, feeling cool again.

Hi Susie, Umpa sucks down a Michelob ultra light beer (2.6 net carbs) she says the hops help her hot flashes dissipate  ;)

Oh yum!!!!! What ingredients in beer do that? I'm a wine drinker, but I do like beer.

Quickly sucking down beer can make a lot of things "dissipate"! ;D
I've been there, done that! :D :D :D

Does one beer help all day for hot flashes? I have several a day and some at night.

I just re-read what I put up. Did I really say that? Oh my, need to clarify.... "I have several hot flashes" a day and some at night, not beer. LOL
