Hi Sunshine:

Would love to see the recipe for the homemade bars, but only if I'm not putting you out too much.  I've made some before with Whey protein powder and peanut butter but they weren't too good.

Thanks for responding!

Thanks Umpa:

Will stay away until we know for sure.  Was just looking for something I can throw in my purse, a lot of early mornings BAD options for lunch.

Open to suggestions for "convenient" grab and go stuff.

« on: May 12, 2014, 06:40:55 PM »
Thanks Morgan.  That was brilliant.  Gives me a great starting point.  I have to and WILL break this stall, it is driving me batty >:(.

I know I can do less than 10 carbs a day just needed a good starting point, so THANK YOU again.

All of you are so welcoming here.  I'm loving it!

Weight Loss Stalled! WHY? / 6 month stall?
« on: May 09, 2014, 03:38:21 PM »
Morgan:

I saw your thread about the 10 week stall you had last June.  You mentioned trying a few 10 carb days.  Would you mind sharing your daily menu.  I've lost 90 pounds then completely stalled for the last 6 MONTHS.  I joined FTS a couple of weeks ago and would love some advice.

Thanks,

madoctor

PS the only reason I started a new thread was because of the following message I saw when posting.

No Ma'am I am NOT a vegetarian, though i do love veggies.  Have been good about sticking to the veggies list.  Cauli, broc, etc.

I guess I'm just trying to find my "happy place" ;) and not get all worked up about calories.  Thanks Doug!

Hi Umpa:

It been 6 days and I feel great! Having a little bit of a problem.  I track all my food in My Fitness Pal and am getting only 800-900 calories per day in trying to keep with the 20 Net Carbs.  I eat a lot of greens, broccoli, sprouts etc and they add up.  Looked through the books to see a few daily menu ideas can't find anything.  Need some direction please!

Thanks guys.  Also got some psyllium husk powder to add to stews etc.  Tastes okay too!

Hi Umpa:

Trying to figure out how to get more fiber into my diet and still keep carbs below/at 20. GG crackers are fine but I can't do too many without feeling really bloated!

Thanks for any help

Has anyone tried the Quest Nutrition Bars?  They have between 3 and 7 net carbs and a lot of fiber.  Wondering if they'd be okay.

You guys are great!.  Thank you.  I've stalled (6months ago) after losing 90 pounds have about 35 to go.  Day one is going pretty well so far.
