Hi FTS family!
This may seem trivial to some, but for any of you who have been morbidly obese.....you will understand.  I had the opportunity to fly to West Palm Beach Florida with my daughter this past weekend.  Due to my weight,  I haven't attempted to board an airliner in almost 15 years now!  I was SO nervous that either I wouldn't fit in the seat or that I wouldn't be able to fasten the seat belt.  Walking from the gate down to board the plane, I was in panic mode...the sense of dread just came over me!
Well.....I am THANKFUL to say that I fit in the seat just fine and I was SOOO relieved when I was able to buckle that seat belt!! ....Thanks to FTS and the Good Lord!!  This was a major accomplishment for me!  Now I feel like the sky is really the limit!!  If the losing continues.....I may be at an amusement park and on a roller coaster by this Summer!!  I'm so happy!!! .....and I had a great weekend in Sunny South Florida too!!

Hi Maddysmom!  :)

If your story would seem trivial to anyone reading it, then they don't belong here!

Those of us who have not yet reached our goal, have our own crosses to bear due to our excess weight.
Usually, those crosses are heavier for those of us who are heavier.

I never had a big problem getting into an airline seat and buckling the belt. But it was challenging!
Those seats were a tight fit. And on long, crowded flights, I often felt much more uncomfortable due to my size.
I have not flown for some time now.
But I expect that on my next flight, I will fit into the seat far better than I have before.

Thank you so much for such an inspirational testimony of how your life is changing thanks to F2S!

Maddysmom I know just what you mean, I have been there afraid or having to ask for the belt extension. I am SO HAPPY for you!! Way to go!!  Have you been to the movies lately? I bet those seats are comfy now too! :)

Congrats! This is a great milestone! :)

For me, just being able to wear a belt again was a big deal.

Congratulations, maddysmom.  That's a thrilling accomplishment. I know that dread and anxiety - such a relief to feel "normal" and lose those worries one by one.
