Pizza crust?
« on: June 25, 2011, 11:23:13 PM »
Ifound this on Linda's site and was wondering if anyone had tried this pizza crust? Or if it was found to have too many carbs/sugar?  See the recipe and link below.

NANCYELLE'S THIN AND CRISPY PIZZA CRUST
8 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
4 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
3 eggs
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon basil, optional

Hi easytoforget! :)

This looks good to me!

In fact, I'll bet this pizza tastes much better than those we make with low carb tortillas.
With a crust made mostly from cheese, I'll bet it's fabulous!

I'm gonna give it a try sometime next week!

Thanks for sharing this! ;)

No problem :) I tried it tonight. It was so good I think it must have too many carbs or something :P It was great with a side salad. Let me know how it goes for you mouseissue!

Easytoforget if you ever want a fast easy thin and crispy crust try these
http://www4.netrition.com/josephs_bakery_lavash_bread.html

You can find them at walmart at the deli well some walmart's . What I do when I make pizza is  I rub it with a little oil then I put it in the oven on 325 and just watch it when it starts getting crispy and brown I take it out put my sauce  on it and toppings and cheese . Half of one is 4 carbs  .

It also makes good naco like chips I do the same thing except I cut them after I put the oil on them ,brown them a little take them out Put some cheese on them and stick them back in the oven till cheese melts .  ;)
