Title: hidden sugar

hello'
my first time to post so bare with me. When you are eating ham and it says 0 carbs, but there is sugar in the ingredients, what do I do.

You question is easily answered...

Due to unclear FDA rules on reporting carbs, relying on the ingredients list is important.
The rules about ingredients are far more strict.

When I read labels, I first look at carb counts. Then, I look at ingredients.
If ANY high carb ingredient (like sugar) is in the top three, I typically don't buy it.
