They feed kids HORRIBLY
« on: August 30, 2013, 10:23:13 AM »
Hi all!

Lately I've been doing this with my son's youth group. I was shocked at what they are feeding these kids. They supply tons of Mountain Dew, cookies, cakes, pop tarts and the list goes on and on. I have tried several times to try to infuse the group with healthy alternatives but the parents want nothing to do with it. It's driving me crazy. No wonder our youth are overweight. Ugh!

Hi, SherriePie! :) :) :)

I hope you and yours are all doing well!

People get what they ask for.
If parents insist on feeding their children toxic garbage that makes them obese,
they should not be surprised when their children get FAT!

It's like banging one's head on a wall, and complaining about headaches! :-\
That's one long and sustained "DUH!" moment!

Hi Sherripie !*HUGZ* I have missed you! I totally agree with you its very frustrating.Children have to be taught how to eat and then they will make good choices. No kid wants to be the fat kid. I think alot of parents use sugar as a treat because they don't spend enough time with there kids. The kids would rather have the time with their parents ;)
