A couple of months ago I gave my Uncle my old FTS book, yesterday I saw him and he looked amazing.. he has lost 25+.. He look much younger too.. He showed me his stashed.. He isnt doing 20 carbs a day but still, just eliminating all the refine sugars, breads, etc... he stopped taking metformin too... AWWWW, you rock Uncle Chris.....

My hero!!! Just giving up the refined sugars. That is my goal to be "sugarfree" (no more WHITE STUFF) ;D ;D ;D
Hence the name "Barb Sugarfree" ;D ;D ;D

I don't know how many people Katary has lent his book to! :D And they all lost their weight.

That's wonderful news about our uncle Chris!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D
FTS is a life saver for sure! :) :) :)

Every time I see a fat person now, I want to tell them to get on FTS!

Sherripie and downeast hand out business cards. If you want some i will mail them to you ;)

That's a great idea! But everyone I know who is struggling with their weight, I've already told about FTS and I wouldn't really be able to go up to a stranger and tell them "You're fat, here's your card!" I'm waiting for the T-shirt. When I'm skinny, I'll put my fat picture on the T-shirt with the FTS info. How about THAT?

You are too cute ;) Doug walks up to people and pokes them in the belly! I keep telling him one of these days he is gonna get whacked! :D :D
-
THAT'S what I'd be afraid of. But they could stand behind me and read the T-shirt and make their own decision. Seems like just telling people isn't enough - especially one fat person to another. Seeing is believing.

too true ;)

I have lost enough weight (66 pounds and counting) that people notice and ask how I did it. My answer is that I made lifestyle changes including eating a low carb diet. Most people kind of get that glazed-over look and the conversation ends. I follow-up with people that seem interested and there have been a few who are having some success. At lunch today, I'm sharing some of my cabbage lasagna with one of them.
The best advertisement is smaller jeans.

Hi Sarah! :)
For some reason, that reminds me of Bill Engvall's "Here's your Sign!" comic routine. :D :D :D :D :D
I too would be concerned about using Doug's "Tummy Pat" method.
Someone would likely call the law to file an assault charge on me. :D :D :D
-
Andrea 66 pounds is FANTASTIC!!! I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!! ;D
-
Tony, I like Bill Engvall's sense of humor, so that's where that came from...
-
Umpa does Doug really do that? omg how funny and yet dangerous... lol... no one has ever replied in a bad way right? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Not one person has reacted badly. After he pokes them he usually hands them a free book. Nobody wants to be heavy. And when they see his pictures on his business card they KNOW he understands. ;)
