Can I freeze Almond milk
« on: June 15, 2011, 08:47:46 AM »
I was thinking that I could freeze them in ice cube trays and 1 cup baggies . So when I have a recipe I can take it out the night  before I need it because a 1/2 gallon goes bad on me in the fridge . I only use it to make tys milkshakes and for recipes . It being frozen would probably be good for the milkshakes . ? Just hoping I can freeze !

I would try it Jo.I am a cereal girl so mine goes quick. They also sell it in smaller cartons that don't have to be refrigerated until you open them.I don't see why it wouldn't work ;)

You know great minds think alike!!  LOL  I just bought some sure jell to see if I could make myself some home made Jelly.  My sister is so good at that stuff but I haven't tried the jams and jelly's yet.  I bought the pink box for the sugar free.  I was wondering if you could use the xylitol with it.  All the ones that I could find have used splenda.  ( to many carbs for me...LOL)  I guess I will have to give it a go... anyone tried this yet??

Your recipe seems so much easier though.... ;)
Thanks for sharing Umpa!!

Me too! Dixie diner granola cereals are pretty good too but alittle higher carb so you have to measure.I like to make a trail mix with them ;)
