General Discussion / Re: For Buford-Cold nose gang cooking show

Miss UMPA,

A barking pelican, that I would love to see. I have a barking furball
(Princess sheds more fur than worn rug at a family supper) and this hurts
still looks like she ain't lost one strand.  Ok 'm gonna figure this dang
cellphone camera out and take a picture of the girls ASAP and post
them doing there thing. She's playing "Dead Dog" right now at my feet,
which means you want coffee you step over me big boy I ain't moving.

Makes ya wonder who the master of the house really is.

Later just got back from a VA clinic appt and I am starving, means
BS is low so it's a scrambled egg, ham and cheese omelet night here.

You no now that I think about it, I ain't never seen a sea lion
in the St. Johns, might be a plan in the making here of course
the only salmon I ever seen round these parts is in a can.

I'll keep the sea cows and you can have them there sea lions,
although I did see a sea cow gum (they don't have teeth to speak of)
a thick bunch of water hyacinth, dang things almost got away to, but
she (had a baby with her) round them right up and gummed the
heck out of a big'em.

We do have some dangerous critters down here called gators
and then the most dangerous are them "GatorFans" , gotta love
Tim Tebow you know.

Miss TooSweet,

Ya done hit another one out'a park. If your body simply
used a 24 hour clock and burned all the carbs in a 24 hour period
up in 24 hours carb cycling it would just double the time necessary
to lose weight. That however does happen a high carb load
is going to throw you out of detox and then you have to recover
the next period of time you are carb restricted, as a diabetic
this is not a good plan IMHO.

General Discussion / Re: Still no Fat to Skinny chat room?
« on: March 11, 2012, 01:44:15 PM »
Excellent and right on point. Thank you for
expanding the reasons a "ChatRoom" is not
necessary nor productive to this forum.

I know I can review things that are months old
if I want, that is worth a lot to me, heck Don,I could
have a "Senior Moment" and forget you and Yuma
names for weeks.

I mean being a member of the "Fat and Easy"
forum gives me a lot of pleasure during the day.

Howdy Y'all and good morning,

I studied on this reply overnite so bear with me till the end.

Freedom of speech is one of the cornerstones of this nation
and is prized as one of the greatest of our freedoms.

However, it has limits. You can not yell "FIRE" in a theater
nor can you abuse my ears on or inside my property,I can demand
you leave and I have the right to do so.

Doug and UMPA have decided with good cause to not open up
there forum (They own it) to personal chatting (IM=instant messaging)

For 30 years I have been a SUPER GEEK (and a poor fisherman). So I decided to set up a chatroom for FTS friends and I did, then within
five minutes I took it down.  Why you may ask, well IMHO it would
take away the closeness of this forum and if you really think IM is
your thing get a Twitter account and have at it or setup your own
private chatroom there a many free ones out their.

If Doug and UMPA decide later to add "CHAT" so be it, I hope they
do not. "If it ain't broke don't fix it" these are my opinions, I do welcome
yours. Want to discuss this more "buford354@gmail.com"

I snorkeled with them in the Crystal River years back. They are the
most gentle and peaceful critters you will ever see, babies are kinda
cute. They love where I am because the St. Johns flows north and
for most of the year the water is much warmer than the intercostal
waterway and the river is loaded with water grass and water plants
all year.

Hope Y'all have a great weekend,

Miss UMPA,

I know you is a very smart lady and maybe have a
few farmer genes in ya background, but knowning the
general area you and Doug hang y'alls hats on the back of
the front door. Them cows in the Keys are of the "SEA"
variety and not the "Moo" kind.

Pennekamp used to be loaded with them, ugly critters
unless you is another seacow I guess. Big and friendly
though, they love lettuce , maybe they discovered FTS before
Doug and you did , but weren't talking a lot at the time.

Looks like y'all might want to wait a little while before
ya buy ya first jug of this new Almond/Coconut stuff.
You might just have a jug of vanilla ice cream before ya
get home.

I got my first jug today and made myself a power shake
not bad at all , I did add a dash more of vanilla to give
it a kick up.

26 plus or 26 minus now  that's just plain a long handle
day to me.

MissyBelle would be dug under the covers all the way to
the end of the bed.

Y'all have a gooden

Howdy Miss Terri,

We hope you find a place here to take a few moments to
enjoy the goodness and conversations of a lot of fine folks. From
time to time I have to put my two cents in about things going
on from my fishin hole in Palatka, Florida and pass on a few
gems of wisdom I hope.

General Discussion / Re: The "New Pasta Diet" really works
« on: March 06, 2012, 12:18:18 PM »
Did I just read "Give up on FTS", never happen in this lifetime.

I dang near lost a bite the other day cause I got this hear new
phone I can use in my boat and were cruising FTS for new stuff
when up popped a new UMPA thingy. Of course I had'a have a
look see and wernunt watching my line ya no so the dang fish all
most took the bait without me even noing what he had done.

Now I ain't saying I don't look around , but them others is
like kissing your sister. It's a kiss fer sure , but ya ain't gonna
make ya come back fer another peck real soon.

Fishin is a waste of time, money and resources none of which I have
so I guess I'll just have to keep on until I get rich, learn time management
and find a oil well.

Miss UMPA,

Give me your address, I'll send MissyBelle down there for a few
of her super special nose sugars, fix ya right up. Princess does the nose
thing in strangers faces all the time, I warn'em but they think she is so cute
and she is just waiting for them to get in range and "GOT'CA", she can
sneeze in a microsec and never bat a eye until its to late to pull back out
of range.
