Talk to me about Sushi Doug. Will this work on fat to skinny?

You bet, the biggest thing to look out for is the rice and the sauce. I make my own sushi, replace the rice with my "cauli-rice" and replace the sauce with sugar free teriyaki. Take a head of cauliflower and run it through the food processor using the grater blade. take the cauli-rice into a non stick skillet for a quick stir fr or steam just until it comes to heat. Cover the pan a set aside for ten minutes and bingo, Rice! The sushi wraps are carb free as well. I like shrimp or "gravlox" (salted salmon) as my seafood in the wrap. Just cant get used to raw octopus! :P

Im having a bit of trouble with this cauliflower thing. I dont have a food processor and it isnt turning out well. Most of it is ending up on the walls when I use the mixer....Any suggestions?
-
The last processor I bought was at Wallmart for about $30.00 you should pick one up.
-
I was afraid you might say that...
-
Would a hand grater work?
-
Sure and chunks of "Beebs" will add more protein :) Check your local salvation army store, goodwill store and local flea markets as well. There always seems to be a food processor kicking around. You don't need anything fancy for the reicpes that call for one. All you need is a grater disk and a chopping blade set up.

LOL! That's like asking if zombies eat chicken with their fingers!!!

I ADORE sushi ! but I can't even make it myself the FATTY way there is no way I could do it this way. :-\
Beebs did you get a food processor ? I wonder if you could use a blender to chop it up. Just do a little at a time ....
