Hi everyone! This gets compicated but i'll try and explain. I have fallen off the low carb wagon a bit over the holidays and during our Wisconsin bad weather spell. As well as gaining back 5lbs, I find my fybromyalgia has flared up really bad. Now i am wondering whether when I was doing low carb I was also ( as a side benefit) getting rid of some of the gluten in my diet. Now I am wondering if i should go on a gluten free plan. But gluten free is very restrictive. What do you guys think?

I don't think Glutenfree is the answer. I think your overall health will improve if you just stay off the sugar. My best friend has discoid lupus and Dougs plan has helped her tremendously. Glutenfree products are high in sugar and carbs. The nut and flax flours we use are extremely healthy. ;)

Hi jacksprattswife! :)
I agree with Umpa.
Gluten is a type of protein that is found in wheat, rye, and barley.
Since we avoid these grains (and products containing them), F2S can also be considered "gluten free".

Thank you guys. that is the answer I was coming to myself. I will let you know if the fibromyalgia pain subsides when the carbs are out of my system. This could help others.

Please do ;) Its amazing the changes that occur with illness and disease when you remove sugar. :)

It's so important not to stray from FTS, follow the program as written and stick to the rules...you'll be just fine.
