Am on first week of program, 4th day, and having good results. Am experiencing some dizziness today and was wondering if this is normal, and best way to counteract.
-
Yes it is normal, it is part of detox. I did the samething. It passed quickly just lasted a couple of days.

Welcome to the family, diamonddaddy! :) :) :) :) :) :)
I too experienced some dizziness during detox which went away.
Later as I lost weight, my blood pressure also started to drop and I would get very dizzy at times.
My doc just cut my meds down and it is a little better now.
In the meantime, just be careful how quickly you rise from a stooped position.

I also was dizzy seems like it was day 4 or 5 it should pass . If you are on BP meds you might need to check it out if not it probably is from the sugar detox .
Welcome to the forum !

Welcome to the party, diamonddaddy! A bit of dizziness is pretty common during sugar detox....remember, you're breaking a very strong addiction. Stay in touch and check in often. ;)

Hi Doug and Umpa!! Yes, the dizziness seems to be pretty much gone. Still a little unfocused? Yes, more than normal. Are the recipes in the F to S book generally for 1 serving, 2, or more?? Have tried a couple and they seem to be quite good. Am looking forward to the Gumbo. Thank you for your reply!!

Most of the recipes in the FAT TO SKINNY Fast and Easy book are open ended, meaning they can be made any size depending on the quantity of ingredients you use. Please review this post for portion control- http://www.fattoskinny.net/index.php?topic=233.0 (http://www.fattoskinny.net/index.php?topic=233.0) Glad you're starting to feel better, hang in there and stay in close touch ;)

the dizziness is probably from the sugar detox. It will go away in a couple weeks Im guessing.
