I'm pleased to announce a case of 30 books is being shipped today to Union County Middle School in Blairsville, Ga 30512 due to the generosity of a forum member donation through the Donate button on the forum home page. I'm so excited to have a classroom full of FTS books being taught to students by another of our wonderful forum members :)

I have also talked with the Health teacher about the book and she may use them with her classes.

Uncle Sam has just extracted a wad of money from our pockets so things are quite tight right now.

I just think its important to educate children and from the looks of things the forum members agree.Lets get to that child before they are obese and if he is obese lets show him there is hope ;) Children are so smart ;)

I have 45 pounds to lose before I reach "Brick House" status. When I get there, I will donate one dollar for every pound I lose and I will add $5 more to make the even 50, so a school can have these books. That's my goal. And I'm going to get it!!!! ;D

Its a new program so we haven't gotten that kind of feedback.Owensmath could probably respond to this question a case of books went to her school.It doesn't have to be public schools we will send them to home school groups too. Kids are so smart,they learn quick :)

NICE!!! Kids with balanced blood sugar do better in school too.

They also behave better when they are not wired for sound on sugar ;)

We started with the books near the end of the school year, but I did see many students reading labels more often. They also were bringing water bottles to school instead of bottles of juice or nothing. I also had several teachers ask to borrow a book for the summer.

Today, I saw one of the teachers who borrowed a book. He is so proud of himself. He has lost 20 pounds so far.
