How much salad, tomatoe, and onion....
Onions add up quick... 1/2 cup 5 carbs
And 1 cup salad is 1... I always under estimate salad..when I actually put it in measuring cup I have been fooled lol
;D

Probably 1/2 cup lettuce, 3 thin slices small tomato and about 2g onion (was sliced very fine - about 1 ring). I left the rest. I know it adds up real quick.

That's what I was thinking too  ::)  Just a thought....I'm not seeing to much in the way of veggies here either.  Mostly proteins, dairy, baked goods and sweets.  Most of your carbs should be coming from your veggies and lean proteins and then if you have the room you can add in some sweets here and there as a treat....Just something to think about.  I get in this habit myself   ;)

Hi umpa - never considered I wasn't having enough food.  Been trying to keep it on the lower side.  Enough for hunger. My fridge was bare these last few days.  Only some frozen beans (which not keen on) and some unhappy broccoli.  I've been on nightshift last few nights and we are in the middle of a heat wave 37oC most days.  I get home, basically grab a few hours sleep and then just want grab whatever is convenient in fridge/freezer.  But been to the supermarket on way home so have some vegies now.

I think peoples knee jerk response when the scale is not moving is to starve themselves like they are being punished! In my experience that leads to binging  on carbs cause they ore overly hungry. ;)  ;)I think what you are eating is fine as long as you are satisfied.TooSweet is 100% correct in her advice. Its weird when people obsess about the scale it stops moving ,when they ignore it their pants fall off! Sorta like a spoiled child that doesn't want to be told what to do!! :D  Scales are evil!

Morgan don't despair, you're doing well.  Use the scale as one of your tools but don't focus on it too much.
