Eating fat can actually improve weight loss (http://www.fattoskinny.com/) progress -IF- you're living a low carb lifestyle, like FTS.

Yes its safe to eat the fats while being under 20 grams of carbs but be also mindful not to overdo fats because they are 9 calories per gram and if you don't let satiation take place and keep eating you will gain weight due to caloric intake. Believe me, I learned that the hard way lol but yes feel free to eat and enjoy your foods ;)

That's right, Jay! :)
Portion control (in all we eat) is as important as keeping the carb count low.

Hi there -- I can add my "dittos" to the above posters. Stay under 20 carbs.....and watch out for sneaky carbs in everything you eat......"carb creep" can put you WAY over 20 if you're not careful. Those carbs are sneaky little things! Read your labels. Also, start listening to your "I'm full" message. You actually want to learn to stop eating before you reach the "I'm full" point. Try it each time you eat to notice when you start to feel satisfied...the first time you notice it "PUT DOWN THE FORK." If you have food on your plate, then put it in a little container in the fridge to reheat for another meal or snack. Also LC FTS has a learning curve, and you want to take things step by step. Read the book and stick close to that, keep posting here, and you'll be delighted with the results.
Best wishes to you on your FTS journey.
