Wasn't sure where to post this - just to let you all know - my daughter had her baby, a bouncing (why do they say bouncing?) baby boy - welcome to BRODIE LAWSON, 8lb 6oz, 51cm. Grandson (first time I've said that) daughter and her hubby doing well, if a bit sleep deprived.
Stephanie - how are you going? All well, I hope.

Congratulations Nana!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D One of the best jobs I have ever had ;) ;)
I'm not sure why Morgan but my grandson is definitely a bouncing boy! Everywhere!! Haha :D

Stephanie -- so happy for you and your daughter and new grandbaby.....babies are such a blessing in our lives....and they smell so good.....i'll bet you're walking two feet off the ground you're so happy.

....and they smell so good.....
I suppose it depends on what end you're smelling - haha
So happy all went well. As a parent you just don't stop worrying, even when they are grown.
My mum always said "little children, little problems; big children, big problems". So very true.
TooSweet - is it because they are chubby (like Santa) and jiggle or that they just bounce around all over (not literally - well I hope not anyway) :D ?

Congratulations, Morgan!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Welcome to the grandparents' club!
Your mother was so right about kids... We never stop being parents.
As far as where "bouncing baby" came from...
My understanding is that it refers to a baby being strong and healthy.
Strong and healthy children tend to move (i.e. bounce) around a lot. :)
