Thank you oh so much umpa (NOT), I am on day 12 of doing without sweetness and what do you make me do -
DROOL (mind you I have also run out of tissues to wipe that drool off) and CRAVE. They look absolutely scrumptious. As I read it, I was wondering how to convert.
My birthday is in October and one of those recipes may be my 'birthday cake', so umpa (if you please) start converting.
Thank you in advance (of my advancing years :D).

Goodness...I don't think I'm strong enough to have looked at that as long as I did :o :'(

The red velvet twinkies will be easy peasy using your red velvet cake recipe Umpa ;) ;) Once I come off of my sweets boycott Haha I'll have to see if I can make them. I'm with Morgan....droool ;D
-
I'm with you on that toosweet!

I ordered the twinkie pan and the red velvet cake recipe is in the Fat to Skinny Bakery Book!I am very excited to be able to make these for grandson! ;) I will post pics when I make them!
-
I just saw a twinkie pan on Amazon LOL I can't wait to see how they turn out!!! Those are definitely grandbaby food ;D ;D Chocolate with cream filling...."No carrot" carrot cake with cream cheese filling.....Oh goodness the possibilities are endless
-
Just a quick question...and someone may have told me somewhere else and I don't remember...I'm not planning on making these anytime soon, I don't have the gear to do it anyhow, but what do you suggest replacing cream cheese with? I can't have it and I was wondering if heavy whipping cream wouldn't do the trick?
-
Oh yes...you could just use a whipped cream filling ;) Something else that would be good is some kind of pudding or even jelly center. Whatever you like I'm sure would be yummy
-
Thanks...sounds awesome!

Since reading this post I have been trying to track down a twinkie pan. As you know twinkies are an American thing so this is of course not going to be easy. Amazon have them but don't post to my designated address. EBay have them but postage is $40+, so now on a mission when going into town and checking out the stores.
-
Morgan...would it be easier if someone in the states mailed you one and you mailed back reimbursement? I wouldn't mind helping you if that's a route you decide you want to try.
-
Thanks for the offer TT but have no idea wat the postage would cost, maybe it is going to be that exorbitant. I will look around here, I'm sure some of the specialty stores might have them. If not I may have to take you up on your offer. And most assuredly I would reimburse you. Thanks again.
-
No problem gal...just lemme know!
-
Morgan any tube pan would work. The red velvet one they posted was cream cheese and goat cheese.I bought my pan from amazon. Now the waiting begins. :D
-
given that reading this publish I've been looking to locate some sort of twinkie griddle. Everbody knows Twinkies are generally a Us factor which means this is naturally not necessarily planning to be uncomplicated. Amazon you can keep them yet will not publish to be able to the designated tackle.
-
Fittin I dont understand?
