Hi rubygirl

I'm not familiar with the shopping there in Arizona but in my area I either go to the local health food store or there is one big grocery store in a neighboring town that actually carries them on the shelf.  If you can't find them locally you can always order them online.  Netrition is a great place to order things.  Their shipping is always $4.95 regardless of the amount in the order.  Here is their link:  http://www6.netrition.com/eden_black_soy_beans_page.html (http://www6.netrition.com/eden_black_soy_beans_page.html)   I have also ordered from Amazon before as well:  http://www.amazon.com/Eden-Organic-Black-Beans-15-Ounce/dp/B000GZS9Q6/ref=sr_1_1?s=grocery&ie=UTF8&qid=1382664323&sr=1-1&keywords=eden+black+soybeans (http://www.amazon.com/Eden-Organic-Black-Beans-15-Ounce/dp/B000GZS9Q6/ref=sr_1_1?s=grocery&ie=UTF8&qid=1382664323&sr=1-1&keywords=eden+black+soybeans)

I hope this helps  :)

Thanks so much......I will look for them here at "Sprouts" or "Trader Joes"    Those are the only 2 places I can think of and then I will look online.

Try this link to see where they may have some close to you.  You can also order directly from them but I'm not sure how much they charge for shipping.  http://www.edenfoods.com/storelocator/search.php (http://www.edenfoods.com/storelocator/search.php)

I do love my free shipping from Amazon. When Mary was younger, I would order toys from there. Their prices were competitive. I was so happy stay away from Christmas traffic & crowded stores & long checkout lines.

Swanson Vitamins.com also carries Eden Black Soy Beans cheaper than Netrition.

I also found Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar, and NOW Psyllium Husk Powder a tad cheaper at Swanson.  I still order from Netrition, but pick-up a few items when I order vitamins from Swanson...

I'm going to make some chili for a deal at work next week with Eden black soybeans. They're about $2.89 a can at the local  health food grocery store. I like the black beans, they make things look normal, but I really don't taste any difference from regular yellow soybeans that you can pick up for $13.00 a bushel at the local grain elevator. For home use, I'd recommend plain old soybeans. Just plan on cooking them for a couple days and add some vinegar so you don't gas everyone out of the house. Makes great ham and beans!

HiYa Moose! When I make my chili I put the beans in with the ground meat so they have a chance to soften. ;) What is a grain elevator?I have never heard of yellow soybeans :)

I can tell you are not from farm country  Haha  Just picking with you Umpa.  Its where the farmers take their crops for storage and/or shipment.  You can go and buy bushels Of different things at most of them.   ;) ;)
