Title: Guy's SF BBQ Sauce
Post by: Shoelace on March 11, 2014, 04:26:10 PM
Guy's Award Winning Sugar Free BBQ Sauce... Original (They have different flavors in sugar free.)

I know some of you use Walden Farms BBQ sauce and like it, but I'm an old lady and can remember when they first came out with bottled BBQ sauce, it was mild.  These days most BBQ sauces have an extremely strong taste.  I tried 2 different flavors of WF and sorry, they tasted like chemicals to me.

I read some reviews on Guy's SF BBQ sauce before ordering, and the reviews were great.  My Netrition order arrived today.  I tasted it and of course it is too strong for my taste, but still tastes good, and no chemical taste to me.  Tomorrow I am going to start with a can of tomato sauce and add the Guy's until it is the strength I like.  Barbeque ribs for us tomorrow.

I'll have to give Doug's recipes a try -- after my 4 bottles of Guy's is gone, and they are very large bottles.   :)
