Title: Need Bake Sale Ideas
Post by: o0OSusieO0o on August 29, 2014, 01:54:58 PM
Mary wants to make low carb treats for a bake sale. What would be the cheapest way to go about this?

Did you ever sort anything out Susie?  I tried to think of something but, as I'm around the other side of the world, I wasn't sure what you had available and if you were going low carb.

We are going to bake with coconut flour, it's higher in carbs than almond meal but you use 1/3 less coconut flour in recipes so the recipes come out very little more carbs. It costs me about $1.50 less a pound here locally.

Probably different kinds of muffins. I have holiday cupcake pan liners.

Thanks Umpa, I can always use ideas/recipes for baked goods that do not require refrigeration.

The ladies are asking us to make baked dessert goodies. Only problem is that they are selling everything for 50 cents. That is not worth the money I have to put in to making low carb items.

Hmmm...that's awfully cheap. If you made cookies could you charge it per cookie? Or maybe per slice cake?
