Hello everyone, it's been a while - let's just say, life got in the way and I reverted to my default setting of comfort eating.  There's been good days and bad days.  I think I've reconciled my life, but it was touch and go for a while - lost at sea (a sea of food - well not just food, but emotions). 

I have been lurking on the forum, never quite giving up but fighting myself for control.  Honestly, if you were a junkie you just stay away from the drugs, being a carb addict there is a whole range of stuff to stay away from (even though it boils down to just one - SUGAR). 

Welcome to all the newbies, I hope you have made friends with all the long timers on the forum.  The people who have been there, done that and can help you through your journey.  They really are great and very helpful.

Let's get chatting - how has everyone been?

You've been missed around here.

Happy to hear that you've reconciled your life.
When too many emotions are boiling, it's more difficult to focus on goals.

I have been on FTS "cruise control", enjoying life, and doing great! ;D

I'm looking forward to hearing from you more often.

Hi Morgan!!  Don't beat yourself up girl.   :)  Everyone one of us here are sugar junkies, so you are in great company   ;) ;)  


Myself, I've have noticed a little carb creep and starting to see an upward swing on the  old scale.  :-\   We all know how to get a handle on that though.  Haha  Time to start keeping a log again.  I'm glad you are doing well my friend.  You too Tony  ;)

HI Morgan!Welcome home! :) Doug and I are doing great! We just got back from New England.We went to Cape Cod,Boston,New Jersey ,and Manhattan.Had a blast! I found some cannelloni forms in the North End of Boston so I am working on that recipe.Italian food is my passion! Glad you are back ;)
