1. My abusive ex is moved out, a feeling I have now is freedom
2. Been without power to my kitchen since after thanksgiving, but yesterday my dad sent over an electrician. He fixed it in 10 minutes. I can bake again. No longer have to light the stove each time I cook. Also now I can use the microwave, window air-conditioner and oven!!
We are without a car, but it is worth this peace of mind.

Working on a very clogged kitchen sink now. No car to run to store, so I'm using baking soda, vinegar, salt & boiling water. Wish me luck, lol.

Hooray, Susie! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
I am SO happy that you're abusive ex is gone!!!
Over time, the traps under kitchen sinks tend to collect grease, which is sticky.
Hot water and a simple rubber plunger are usually effective a breaking a clog.

Well, Mary called me amazing. Her dad had hard time unclogging the drain. I used vinegar, baking soda, salt & boiling water. It was nice & unclogged in 2 hours!

I bought 5 lbs of frozen ground turkey at a store called Smart & Final. The ground turkey is $7.99 total and that comes up to only $1.60 a pound. Also bought half gallon of Half & Half for $3.49. I take an insulated bag, with frozen cold pack in it, on the bus.
Bought two really big boxes of baking soda cheap. Not only do we use it for unclogging the drain, Mary makes a homemade bath balm with it. Of course use it for baking as well.
