Actually.... I was thankful to be down another .8 this morning which makes 60 lbs gone now!  When I decided to try FTS, I prayed and asked God to just please bless my efforts....and He is faithful!  
It's going to be a GREAT day!  :)

Hi FTS family!
This may seem trivial to some, but for any of you who have been morbidly obese.....you will understand.  I had the opportunity to fly to West Palm Beach Florida with my daughter this past weekend.  Due to my weight,  I haven't attempted to board an airliner in almost 15 years now!  I was SO nervous that either I wouldn't fit in the seat or that I wouldn't be able to fasten the seat belt.  Walking from the gate down to board the plane, I was in panic mode...the sense of dread just came over me!
Well.....I am THANKFUL to say that I fit in the seat just fine and I was SOOO relieved when I was able to buckle that seat belt!! ....Thanks to FTS and the Good Lord!!  This was a major accomplishment for me!  Now I feel like the sky is really the limit!!  If the losing continues.....I may be at an amusement park and on a roller coaster by this Summer!!  I'm so happy!!! .....and I had a great weekend in Sunny South Florida too!!

Well I only had a half box of Baker's chocolate (4 oz.), so this cheesecake was more of a light mocha color...still yummy! I put 1 1/2 boxes in the one I made at Christmas...(12 oz!  ha ha)  I really LOVE dark chocolate.   Girl, I WISH we could have got together!!  I miss you.....

We have snow down here in Georgia too!  It came Sunday night and then we got the freezing rain on top.  The roads are STILL covered in ice with schools and businesses closed.  I was prepared and had FTS things to eat.  I made chicken salad, sausage balls, 7 layer salad, and ANOTHER chocolate cheesecake!  I am really just pretending it's Christmas all over again!  :)

Owensmath...I made your squash casserole this weekend, and it was delicious!!  This recipe is definitely a KEEPER!!  I didn't have the GG Bran crispbread, so I did grab the pork rinds, crushed them, and used it for the topping!  It worked out great!

I made the sausage balls again for New Years!  I found that if you cook them longer than 30 minutes, it makes them alot crunchier!  I liked this last batch even better!   

hint....  Since you aren't using the Bisquick in the recipe, there's really nothing to soak up the grease from the cheese and sausage.   I made the first batch on my pampered chef baking stone, and the excess grease ran off into my oven which burned and smoked.  ha ha  This last time I use a baking pan with sides.....no mess to clean afterwards.  :)

Hi G8torgirl!  Welcome to the forum. I've always had a weight problem, and never found a "diet" that I could stick with.  FTS is a lifestyle, and I am now convinced that if I can do this....ANYONE can!!  Those first few days were the hardest going through detox, but then it got easier everyday!!  I made it through Thanksgiving AND Christmas eating low carb, and didn't feel like I missed out on ANYTHING!!   This forum is a GREAT help to me!  The people are SO nice and supportive.
