GREAT!  Thanks so much! I will certainly give this a try next week.  Umpa will be proud of you!   Wish I was headed to Florida!  I'm going up to Annapolis, MD Saturday, and they are expecting rain & snow on Sunday...  Brrrr   Tis the Season!

Awhh!  Thanks ladies!   I am loving this way of eating.  When I went for a check up last week, before I even weighed my doctor told me that he could tell I had lost when he saw my "face".  (That's not exactly where I need to lose it. ha ha)  I know it will happen.....stay the course....stay the course.

Umpa where are you???  It's Christmas, and we need sausage balls!!    ha ha

Does anyone have a low carb recipe for sausage balls?  I would love to have them during Christmas.  The recipe I have calls for 1 lb sausage,  1 cup of shredded cheese and 2 cups of Bisquick mix.  I am wondering what would be best to substitute for the Bisquick.    Almond flour, flaxseed meal, or something else?

Just for something quick, I love the stove top pizza.  It's on the recipe exchange, and you can do lots with it.  I just like the crunchy cheese crust with pepperoni on it.

My experience with the noodles was exactly like thedaltons6.  I just figured I didn't prepare them correctly.....so I tried again & cooked them in a non stick pan for a little while after rinsing, rinsing & rinsing.   Honestly, I think that I just didn't like the texture.  Maybe boiling them would change that..??  Next I am going to try "Miracle Noodles".

Umpa, just yesterday I was thinking it would be neat to know what you and Doug eat on Thanksgiving!   From the looks of the pictures in the cookbook, I bet YOUR table will be a thing of beauty!!  :)

Thanks so much ladies!

Shihtzumom1, I clicked on yours and saw no personal info, so I will give the ticker another try.  I sure hope Owensmath sees this too & tries it!

Joagain, I know I shouldn't be embarassed, but I have been giving this website out to EVERYBODY who asks how I'm losing weight.  I sure wouldn't mind my FTS family knowing my weight  :-*.......but my co-workers that I see everyday  :o....I'm just not ready!  ha ha

I added the ticker for a couple of days, but mine showed my current weight if you clicked on it.   I assumed that only I could see that, but I had Owensmath test it, and she could see it too!  I quickly removed it. ha ha  Is there a way to set it up so that when others click on it, it won't show this.

I figure another 50lbs and I won't mind, but right now.....it's still embarassing.

Oh yes on the turkey Joagain!  I am also thinking of taking a little jar of the Heinz turkey gravy to my mom's house.  (Not quite sure what all she puts in her jiblet gravy..??  ha ha)

Thanks so much! I will definitely check out the pecan pie too!

We had our office Thanksgiving luncheon yesterday.  I was nervous about it, but found plenty of things to eat that were FTS approved!  I had turkey, ham, turnip greens, green beans, deviled eggs, broccoli salad and I brought Doug's pumpkin pie!  I was just as stuffed as my co-workers!  ha ha  Next will be the dinner at my Mom's house on Thursday.  She is precious and says she will have plenty that I can eat, but I am taking my own dessert.  :)

Hi Joagain,

This sounds SO good!  I've made this crust before and it is GREAT!
I'm trying to decide between this or a key lime cheesecake to take to my family's Thanksgiving dinner.   Does this make a full size pie?  Just noticed the main ingredients of the filling only totals 1 1/2 cups.  Just wondering if maybe I would need to double it to make a BIG fluffy pie?
