Hi Izzet,
I made this last night and it was YUMMY!!!   I was out of bacon, so I browned some sausage and used it as a substitute.  Thanks for sharing this recipe!!

Thanks! I'm so excited about this eating plan.
Last night I made a breakfast quiche recipe I found on the recipe exchange.  (I was out of bacon so I substituted sausage.) I brought it in to the office with me today to share with my co-workers!  They loved it!  It sure didn't taste like "diet food".  ha ha

On Monday night, Owensmath and I commented back and forth about FTS (success, recipes, and etc.) on Facebook.  Yesterday I had two different friends send me messages that they saw our comments, got curious, and went online and ordered the book!   I was SO happy to hear that!

Update:  I'm down 17 lbs in 5 weeks on FTS  (total loss now 41lbs)

Happy in Georgia!

Ok great!  We need to talk later this week to discuss what we want for dessert!  Right now I'm thinking cheesecake, but who knows by Saturday!  :)

Umpa, thanks for the idea of freezing the cheesecake by the slice!!  That would definitely be awesome to know you have a little treat in the freezer, and also keep me from over doing it all at once!  I LOVE cheesecake!!

Owensmath....we may be eating cheesecake next Saturday! :)

Hi Owensmath!  Yes, I will be there, but Phil has to work.  Will you be there?  I've got to email the plebe mom from Cornelia, GA, because I think she is wanting to come this week too.  She is also a teacher!  You will really like her!

Thanks for the advice on the chicken recipe Jo.  Oooh...I bet the cheese on top would make it even better!

As of today, I think I will start weighing on MONDAYS!  Finally....I am down 2 more pounds this morning!  I usually record my weight on Fridays, and I had stayed the same last week.  What a GREAT way to start of a new week!  (Still....I won't eat desserts every day this week!  ha ha)

I've had fun with these recipes, but I have got to stop eating so many desserts!  ha ha  I hadn't gained any, but didn't lose this week.  I am still happy!!  Next week I plan to try new recipes for regular food.  I am thinking the coconut shrimp recipe sounds good, and I want to try the jalapeno bacon wrapped chicken too.

Awh....we DID have a great time!!  I just LOVE spending time with Owensmath & her family!  They are such sweet, wonderful people, and I sure wish you all could meet them!

I am really enjoying trying all these new recipes!  We used Gary's crackers with Spinach dip instead of the tortilla chips!  The waiter was very nice and didn't even seem to mind us eating our FTS treats.  I even brought redi whip for the pie! ha ha   (I don't think I embarassed my husband too bad. ha ha)

Desserts and Sweets / Re: No-Bake Coconut Cream Cheesecake Bars

The Coconut Cream Cheesecake Bars are SOOO good and really easy to make!  I cut them into 12 bars which would be less than 2 carbs per bar.  I will definitely be making these again!  I think I can make it through the holidays with great desserts like THIS!

I made the pumpkin pie this week, and I LOVED it!!  I enjoyed the pie so much that I didn't even THINK about there being no crust.  This recipe is a keeper!

You are right....I found it at publix in the baking section. It was a little crunchy and a bit dry.  I bet the frozen unsweet coconut would make the macaroons even better!

By the way....Welcome Frosty!!!

I want to, but I haven't decided for sure...I'm torn.  I'm having a yard sale tomorrow, and Phil is wanting me to go fishing with him again before it gets too cold.  He has also mentioned that wants  us to go to some goofy haunted house.  We haven't done anything like that since we were younger.  There's one they say is SO scary that they make you sign a waiver before you go in!  I told him I might get so scared that I wet my pants!  So he says...."Well you could take an extra pair of pants couldn't you?"  ha ha

I'll tell him a better plan would be to come to the tailgate, then we could just see a scary movie at the Atlantic Station Theater! :)
