Place the butter in a small bowl and microwave high until melted. Stir half the dry ingredients into the butter, then the other half. Stir half of the butter/dry ingredients into the wet until smooth, then the other half.

Okay, A little confused with the above which I cut and pasted into my post.  I can't wrap my arms around what I am supposed to do here.  ........  Let's break it down for me:

Place the butter in a small bowl and microwave high until melted:   I GET THIS PART
Stir half the dry ingredients into the butter (I GET THIS PART)  then the other half (What does this mean, then the other half... Does it mean your are eventually stirring all of the dry ingredients into the butter eventually but in two parts?)

Then the next sentence:  Stir  half of the butter/dry ingredients into the wet until smooth, (WHAT DOES THIS MEAN, INTO THE 'WET') and here we go again...then the other half.  Is this just a repetitive paragraph or am I missing something here.

I totally blame myself.  Was never really good at this.

Can someone help me here.

Okay Umpa...you cleared my cobwebbed brain.  Thanks.

I was actually thinking of instead of vanilla extract to put in almond extract and then a few crushed almonds.  Might give this a try this weekend.  How do you think some almond flour...not much...would work?  Maybe 1 tspn?

So, all you have to do is slice them in half and then top with the filling???  Usually, when you say 'filling' it gets inserted into something like a cream puff.  I am confused.  Please explain.

Oh my goodness, this is a real treat.  My husband even liked it, and that's saying a LOT!  LOL.....  I got a really good organic cocoa powder and watched the carb count.  The container is at home, but is wasn't bad at all.  Treated a few people at work along with the ready whip.  they loved it.  I LOVE THIS FORUM!!!

We are definitely off the grid at the cabin.  We do have a generator and it is hooked up that way for electricity.  We have a window a/c as the summer months are very hot.  I love the water barrel idea and truly hope to install soon.  Must discuss with hubby.  I remember one time we had a metal garbage can that was empty and somehow, even though we thought we had the lid on tight, it filled up.  Boy, we used that water for sometime  ... no...we didn't drink it - but used it for other things.  I don't think we thought it was safe enough for anything else but watering plants at the time.  But the water barrel is tight enough and safe for bathing and washing dishes, I would hope.  Although, if it is attached to a gutter, I am not sure how clean the gutters can be with critters running around in the area...bird droppings, etc.

I love them for pizza -----  I have actually used Susie's pizza crust (almost like the one minute muffin, except it has parmisan cheese) and you cook it like a pancake.  Then you add the toppings to it and place in the oven or toaster oven.  It is amazingly delish!

So Morgan, you live in Australia?  Tony, where is it you live?  Thank you both for the great conversations and thoughtful additions/comments.  I truly appreciate it.
