This is definitely on my "to make" list for when the weather warms a bit more around here.
It would be very refreshing on a warm evening. :)

General Questions / Re: Avocado Deviled Eggs
« on: March 26, 2015, 11:43:01 AM »
Hi, Jacki! :)

I make a variation of deviled eggs with avocado.
It has a southwestern taste.

For each dozen eggs, I add 1 medium avocado (mashed), 1 TSP cilantro, and Frank's Hot Sauce (to taste).

The left over egg "stuffing" is nice on a bed of lettuce.

Well, Mary called me amazing. Her dad had hard time unclogging the drain. I used vinegar, baking soda, salt & boiling water. It was nice & unclogged in 2 hours!

Way to go, Susie! :) :) :)

As you're losing, it sounds like your doctors are getting very close to the right med level for you.

40 pounds is a fantastic start!
That's just under 9 percent of your total body weight when you started.

Ask Umpa / Re: lo carb cookies

Welcome to the FTS, family, DADG!!! :) :) :) :) :) :)

I find low-carb cookies in the diet (or health food) sections of grocery stores.
Kroger carries a nice variety of cookies and such.

Hi, Donna! :)

It's a BIG world out there for skinny folks, isn't it Donna? ;)

Like you, I'm amazed at the amount of selections I find in stores.
Since so many people are at least overweight, I'm surprised that the plus-size sections aren't bigger.
But I'm thrilled that I don't have to shop in them anymore.
