Huh you need a osteopath. They treat the whole body not just one symptom ;)

I agree! :)

General Discussion / Re: Is Krill OK on FTS
« on: February 26, 2015, 02:00:17 PM »
Thank you!  I thought that might be the case but could not find a specific answer online so I figured the Support Forum family would know.   I did make a new zuchinni lasagna recipe last week and indulged in a couple of cocktails this weekend - so that may the real culprits. :-\

Hi, LalaK, :)

You NAILED it! :) :) :)

As our bodies attempt to detox (self-cleanse) from sugar,
when we add carbs, that throws a monkey-wrench into our progress.

We will get sugar eating lasagnas with regular noodles as well as drinking alcohol.

Doug created an entire board on this forum dealing with alcohol;
http://www.fattoskinny.net/index.php?board=6.0

In order to be successful, we MUST be in it 100%.
Playing fence games with our eating lifestyles will only deter progress and damage our health. And the longer we assault our metabolisms, the longer it takes to heal them.

Hi, LalaK! :)

Pure krill (shrimp) oil is 0 carbs and just fine on FTS.
But check the label for carby additives.
If you do not experience any allergic reactions from shell fish, I would rule it out.

Your gain is very most likely NOT related to krill oil.
If your female, it may be related to your monthly cycle.
Most likely, you're eating too much and/or carbs are sneaking in (i.e. carb creep).

Losing weight in a healthy way is not a straight line deal.
You most likely will not always see loss or no gain.
Sometimes, we gain a little before we lose more.
We will often lose inches even when the scale does not agree.
That's why we should measure ourselves each week.

Keep us apprised as to how your doing.
If you don't start losing again within the next couple weeks, let us know.

General Questions / Re: Gardening for 2015
« on: February 20, 2015, 01:54:41 PM »
I don't think I'll do a garden this year. :(
There have been a over-abundance of deer around and they've been eating everything except the lawn and evergreens.

I might grow some squashes and tomatoes.
The deer don't seem to bother those as much.
But then, they have been eating things lately they didn't eat before.

Hi, MyPath2Skinny! :)

This is why reading nutrition labels is VERY important.
Carbs are lurking almost everywhere out there.

Welcome to the FTS family, Darkhorse!!! :) :) :) :) :) :)

Sometimes the smallest of changes in what we eat can make a big difference.

Read the label of EVERYTHING you eat.
Many foods have more carbs than we would suspect (like condiments).

Be sure to count every carb and stay under 20 net carbs a day.

Eat ONLY when you are truly hungry.
If we eat when we're not hungry, stalls or gains can be expected.

Write down everything you eat and when you eat it.
We learn a lot about how our bodies respond to different foods and amounts this way.

Hi, MyPath2Skinny! :)

One of the primary reasons why FTS works for the long haul is we REPLACE high-carb junk with healthy and tasty low-carb alternatives.

Also, as each of us REPLACES bad behaviors (like eating sugary candy) as rewards, we reinforce our path to PERMANENT success.

Most of us know how easy it is to lose and gain weight.
But by changing our bad habits with good ones, we can permanently break that cycle.
FTS has done that for me and many others too.
Sounds like you're well on the road there, as well! :) :) :)
