What a great idea, Football food is always an issue around my house. I would love some FTS recipe ideas.

You have found the answer! That ex of yours will be drooling over you soon and it'll be too late because you'll have a young cabana boy of your own! :)

The FTS book and lifestyle has changed my world. I use to be addicted to food, thought about it all the time and loved sweets. I thought that's just the way I was made, didn't really know that it was totally an addiction. Within a month of being on the FTS program my world changed. I no longer craved sweets or really any foods of any kind. I feel in control of myself for the first time in my whole life. Now I get what those skinny people have been saying about "forgetting to eat" or "not really interested" in food. I look at meals in a whole different way and you will too.

Welcome to the next chapter in your life. Read the FTS book, learn it and it'll change your life!  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Welcome rnbeachgirl to the site and to FTS! This is the best program for changing your eating habits for life. I think between the FTS program and your very active job you should be very success with FTS. We have a great community here, you're going to love it. Oh be sure to check out Umpa's recipe section...it's the best!  :)

Huh? Ive been stalled for almost three months now, Im ready to commit hari kari or something. Can I come stay with you for a week umpa? Maybe that would help lol!

Beebs that's a great idea! Umpa you could host a week intensive camp and cook for us all! Yum!!

Maybe we could call it a "healthy support group" and get the cost covered by insurance. LOL

SherriPie:  Along with drinking lots of water I have been slathering my body with Shea Butter which says it helps moisturize and restore elasticity to skin.  I have been using the Clinique Deep Comfort Body Butter, but I'm sure there are less expensive brands out there.  Not sure if it is true about restoring elasticity, but it can't hurt to try, and it definitely moisturizes wonderfully.

I didn't even think about that. Thanks for the heads up, I am going to hit the store and see what I can find, I hope they have the Shea butter.

I started this new way of eating on Sept. 8th and have already lost 7.5#!! Woo Hoo!  I have always been overweight and now am morbidly obese. I am truly enjoying my new way of thinking and eating! Thanks Doug for this book! You are an encouragement to me.  My husband is also eating this way too and that really helps! I have over 200# to lose but am going to take it a day at a time. I know that it is possible with the F2S supporters and my wonderful God, I CAN DO THIS!  Thanks again for the information.  P.S. I love what you say in your book about being a special person just wanting to be normal! That just about says it all!

Margie you are not alone. There are several of us out here that have 200 too lose, I was one of them and I'm almost half way there. Trust me if I can do it so can you. Just take it one day at a time and pretty soon it becomes second nature. I don't crave sweets anymore and I can even eat my FTS meals which I love, right across from my best friend eating my favorite pizza and it doesn't even faze me.

Welcome to the site, it's going to change your world!

Thanks for all the great info. I am a huge water drinker, so I am glad to hear it has so many benefits. I am just hoping between the water and doing the FTS I will just shrink down to just a little itty bitty thing with nice tight skin. We shall see :)
