Lean On My Shoulder / First week no weight- loss

Hey everyone,

I started the low carb lifestyle about a week ago and since then have had no weight-loss. However I do have an increase in energy, which is great. My menu is usually the same everyday soo here is what I have been eating:
7am - OMM with a cup of coffee and splash of half and half
10am- 3 hardboiled eggs and two/three turkey sausage links
12-12:30 - baby spinach with grilled chicken, avocado, cheddar, bacon, Caesar dressing
Snacks: 25 almonds, cheddar cheese
6pm: grilled chicken with spinach.
Maybe I make another OMM for dessert.

Drinking plenty of water all day long

Now I am pretty strict about staying under the 20grams of net carbs and I have. Just not sure what's going on with my body.

Thanks for the info. Believe me I know all about lifestyle changes. I lost over 120lbs a few years back but after my son was born my life changed and little by little around 50 lbs came back to get me.

I noticed that today(my third day) I am very swollen and I think this from the increase in sodium from cheeses, deli meats and eggs. Did anybody else experience this?

Thanks,
Albee

Umpa,

thank yuo for the great ideas. I like the idea of the OMM but not sure what the net carbs of it is. on the recipe thread that lists the recipe for them everyone is saying different numbers. Do you know what it actually is?

thanks
Al

Hi everyone,

i am going to start this diet and am trying to come up with good breakfast ideas for myself since i eat breakfast everyday at work. I figured i could bring in some hard boiled eggs. Maybe another day have cottage cheese or yogurt. What are your thoughts? or what do you bring in?

Thanks
Al
