Well I started on a weight loss and better health journey on September 1st. I am an old follower of Atkins and knew this had worked in the past till I started to re-introduce the carbs.   :( I found FTS at the end of the month and have been doing FTS effectively since October 1st. I am down just under 30 pounds!!

I have to say the part that really made me open my eyes was the part about the French Fries! HOLY COW 12 Teaspoons? ! YUCK!!

Today at work, the girls all brought in food. Minestrone soup, (yep, with pasta), Bread, chips, Cookies and other stuff that I knew I couldn't or wouldn't eat. I planned accordingly. Veggies, cheese, sliced turkey and a little Blue cheese dressing.

This is wonderful!! I feel ALIVE again and I am not craving. I had the withdrawal headache for the first 2 days but after that I was good. Sugar free gum helps!

I'll try to be active as I would love the support of those who understand the challenges!
